Brahim Mokhtar Boumakhrouta, born on 18 December 1953 in El Aaiun, Western Sahara, is the Minister of Cooperation for the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR). An influential diplomat, he has served in various international roles, including as a Polisario representative and SADR ambassador. His government experience includes positions as Secretary General of Government from 2001 to 2003 and Director of Protocol from 2003 to 2007 under President Mohamed Abdelaziz. He studied economic science at the University of Málaga, Spain and established a POLISARIO office in Stockholm in 1976.
