Bramlette McClelland was an American civil engineer, specializing in geotechnics. Born on December 16, 1920, in Newnan, Georgia, he studied civil engineering, earning his bachelor's and master's degrees in 1940 and 1942, respectively. In 1946, he founded Greer and McClelland, which became McClelland Engineers by 1955. Notable for offshore foundations, his firm had over 800 employees in the 1980s, working on significant projects like the Texas Commerce Tower. McClelland earned multiple engineering awards and was an honorary doctor at Purdue. He retired in 1991 and passed away on April 14, 2010.
