Brandon Anthony Mika Bernard (July 3, 1980 – December 10, 2020) was an American man convicted of robbery, kidnapping, and the murder of Todd and Stacy Bagley in 1999. He was sentenced to death and executed in December 2020. Bernard had a troubled youth marked by crime and gang involvement. In 1999, he and four accomplices kidnapped and murdered two young ministers, leading to controversy surrounding his execution as public figures called for clemency, which was ultimately denied by the U.S. Supreme Court.
