Branko Jovanović Vunjak, known as Brendi, was a Slovenian pop singer and songwriter born on April 28, 1962, in Šentjernej. He began writing songs in elementary school and started his musical career as a guitarist. Brendi was involved in various bands, notably the group Don Juan, and produced popular hits sold in large quantities. He mentored upcoming artists and wrote songs for many Slovenian performers. After a successful career, he tragically passed away on June 19, 2011, due to heart failure during a performance.
