Brenden Foster was an 11-year-old boy from Bothell, Washington, who became known for his kind-hearted wish to feed the homeless after being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2005. His story gained media attention when KOMO reported on his final wish on November 7, 2008. This inspired people nationally and internationally. Following his passing on November 21, 2008, the Seattle Seahawks NFL franchise covered the costs of his funeral, and he was buried at Evergreen Washelli Cemetery in Seattle.
