He played as a forward and participated in the United States U20 national team as well as the national futsal team. Wiesner had a significant career with the Seattle Sounders from 1994 to 2008 and also played for the Milwaukee Wave and Club Pann before his untimely death on July 5, 2014, in Oconomowoc Lake, Wisconsin.
