Brian Johnson is an English singer and songwriter born on October 5, 1947. He became the lead singer of the Australian rock band AC/DC in 1980 after the death of Bon Scott. Previously, Johnson was a founding member of the band Geordie, which had hits in the 1970s. His debut album with AC/DC, 'Back in Black,' is one of the best-selling albums of all time. Known for his distinctive voice and strong Geordie accent, he temporarily left the band in 2016 due to hearing issues but rejoined for their 2020 album, 'Power Up.'
