Brian Alexander Killeen (1911-1993) was a prominent New Zealand rugby union player known as 'Shorty'. He played primarily as a second five eighth and began his career in the Hutt third grade before joining Wellington's provincial team. Killeen made his All Blacks debut in 1936 and captained Auckland against the Springboks in 1937. His career included representation for Taranaki and Golden Bay-Motueka due to work transfers. He was recognized for his attacking style of play, scoring notable tries in various matches.
