Brian L. Strom, born on December 8, 1949, is a prominent figure in public health as the inaugural Chancellor of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences and Executive Vice President for Health Affairs at Rutgers University. Previously, he held significant roles at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, including Executive Vice Dean and Founding Chair of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. He has published over 650 papers and authored 15 books, and has led more than 275 grants, recognized as one of America's Best Doctors for eight consecutive years.
