Brian Marsden is a former New Zealand weightlifter, born on September 29, 1947. He participated in the Light-heavyweight class at the 1972 Summer Olympics and the Middle-heavyweight class at the 1976 Summer Olympics, achieving 12th place in both events. Marsden also competed in the Men's 90 kg class at the 1974 British Commonwealth Games, winning a silver medal, and secured a bronze medal at the 1978 Commonwealth Games.
