Brian Joseph Mennes is a Major General in the United States Army, born on April 26, 1966, in New Mexico. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1988 and rose through the ranks from lieutenant to two-star general. Mennes served in various roles, including as commander of the 10th Mountain Division. His military career includes participation in the US invasion of Panama, as well as deployments in both Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2019, he became commander of the 10th Mountain Division, and in 2024, he serves as deputy commander of the XVIII Airborne Corps.
