Brian O'Donnell is an Irish retired athlete, born on June 5, 1960, in Galway. He had a diverse sporting career as an association footballer, rugby union player, and Gaelic footballer. His football tenure with the Galway senior team spanned from 1979 to 1989, during which he secured five Connacht medals and played in the 1983 All-Ireland final. O'Donnell also represented Mervue United in association football and Connacht in rugby, earning 12 caps. He was part of the inaugural Ireland team for the International Rules Series in 1984.
