Brian Roy Goble, known as Wimpy Roy, was a Canadian punk rock musician born on January 4, 1957. He gained recognition as a bassist and singer in several Vancouver punk bands, starting with Stone Crazy, then The Skulls, and as the lead singer of The Subhumans. In the early 1980s, he joined D.O.A. as a bassist and singer, contributing to several albums until his departure in 1996. He reunited with The Subhumans in 2006. Goble passed away from a heart attack on December 7, 2014, at the age of 57.
