Brian Sodeman, born on 7 April 1942, is a former Australian politician and member of the Liberal Party. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia from 1974 to 1983, representing the Pilbara seat. After moving to the North West in the 1960s to work as an engineer, he won his seat in 1974, being the first non-Labor member for Pilbara since 1939. He increased his margin in 1977 but did not contest the 1983 election, retiring after nearly nine years in office.
