Brigitte Plateau is a French computer scientist who studied at the École normale supérieure in Fontenay-aux-Roses, specializing in theoretical probability. She earned a doctoral degree in computer studies and has been a professor at the Institut G. Monge de Technologie since 1988. In February 2012, she became the general director of the G. Nobel group. Plateau has served as the president of the Women's Leadership Association for Higher Education and Research since September 2014 and led the Digital Sciences and Technologies Alliance starting in November 2014.
