Britta Margareta Snickars, born on May 20, 1953, in Styrsö, is a Swedish organist and hymn composer. She studied at the Royal College of Music from 1976 to 1981. Snickars served as an organist in Kista Parish from 1980 to 1996, and as a music consultant for the Diocese of Stockholm from 1992 to 2000. Since 2000, she has been a choir leader and organist in Strängnäs Cathedral Parish. She's also taught at the Church Music Program in Stockholm and has composed several hymns included in various hymnals.
