Bronisław Gostomski was a Polish Roman Catholic priest, born on November 9, 1948 in Sierpc. Ordained in 1972, he worked in various parishes in Poland before moving to the UK in 1979. He served in Ealing, Peterborough, and Bradford, and became a notable pastor at St. Andrew Bobola's in Shepherd's Bush. In 2003, he was honored as a prelate by Pope John Paul II. Tragically, he died in the 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash, and was posthumously awarded the Order of Polonia Restituta.
