Bronisław Kunicki was a Polish mechanical engineer and prominent alpinist active in the 1950s. He was a member of the High Mountain Club in Gliwice, serving as its president from 1961 to 1969. Kunicki's notable achievements include the winter ascent of Niżnie Rysy via the western ridge and a multi-day team climb of the southern pillar of Dych-Tau in the Caucasus in 1959. He also organized climbing camps in the Rila Mountains of Bulgaria in the early 1960s. He passed away on July 9, 2020.
