Bruno Joseph Niedziela was an American football tackle born on April 12, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois. He played college football at the University of Iowa and was a champion wrestler at Crane High School. After serving in World War II with the United States Marine Corps, he played for the Chicago Rockets in the All-America Football Conference. Niedziela appeared in twelve games during the 1947 season. Later in life, he owned a tavern near Richmond, Illinois, and tragically committed suicide on March 22, 1962, at the age of 38.
