Edwin Jay 'Bud' VanDeWege, Jr. is a former American basketball coach who led the Michigan Wolverines women's basketball team from 1984 to 1992. During his tenure, he achieved a record of 93–132 and guided the team to its first 20-win season and NCAA Tournament appearance. In recognition of his accomplishments, he was named Big Ten Coach of the Year in 1990. VanDeWege remains a significant figure in Michigan's women's basketball history as the second winningest head coach in the program's history.
