King Bulelani Lobengula kaMzilikazi Khumalo is the current king of the Northern Ndebele nation, known as the Amahlabezulu tribe. He succeeded King Lobengula, who was overthrown during the First Matabele War. His coronation occurred on September 28, 2018, in Bulawayo. Lobengula's reign is contested as the High Court of Zimbabwe deemed it unlawful. In 2019, he held his inaugural Imbizo in Johannesburg, marking a significant event in his leadership.
