Burastan Zulumyan is a Russian linguist born on November 12, 1953, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR. He is a candidate of linguistic sciences, having obtained his degree in 1993. Zulumyan is a senior researcher in the Literature Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, specializing in the literatures of Russia and CIS nations. He also serves as a senior researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Asian and African Countries at Moscow State University. Additionally, he is a member of the Armenian Scientific Union.
