Buster Stiggs, born Mark John Hough, was an English-born New Zealand drummer known for his involvement in the New Zealand punk music scene. He played in several bands including After Hours, Suburban Reptiles, and The Swingers, where he found success with hits like "Counting the Beat". Although he briefly joined the Australian band Models, he later transitioned to graphic design. Stiggs faced health challenges later in life, including kidney disease and multiple myeloma, and passed away in Perth on January 7, 2018.
