Lieutenant Colonel Cecil Harry "Jiggs" Jaeger, OBE (1913–1970) was a British military band leader. Born in Elham, Kent, he joined the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry at 14. During WWII, he served in Italy, Greece, and Austria as a bandmaster. In 1968, he appeared on BBC's Desert Island Discs and was Senior Director of Music in the Brigade of Guards since 1949. He was recognized as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire and passed away at age 57.
