Qiyasi became a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan in 2001 and was promoted to professor in 2007. He is also a full member of the International Academy of Architecture of the Eastern Countries since 1999, contributing to both academia and practical aspects of architectural design.
