He is currently an unrestricted free agent, previously playing for the Kansas City Mavericks in the ECHL. Morris had a notable college career at the University of Notre Dame, where he excelled in the 2017–18 season, earning various accolades such as the Mike Richter Award for the most outstanding goaltender in NCAA Division I, as well as leading the team to the NCAA Championship Finals.
