Madame Callista Chimombo is a Malawian politician and former First Lady from 2010 to 2012, widow of President Bingu wa Mutharika. She served as Malawi's High Commissioner to Kenya since April 1, 2022, and was previously the National Coordinator for Maternal, Infant, and Child Health. She also held positions such as Minister of Tourism, Wildlife, and Culture and a member of the Pan-African Parliament. Chimombo has been active in politics through the Democratic Progressive Party, having earlier been part of the United Democratic Front.
