Candy Costie is an American retired swimmer born on March 12, 1963, in Seattle, specializing in synchronized swimming during the 1980s. She competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, winning a gold medal in the duet event with partner Tracie Ruiz. Additionally, she earned a silver medal at the 1982 World Swimming Championships and a gold medal at the Pan American Games. In recognition of her achievements, she was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1995.
