Carl Henry Charon, born on March 17, 1940, in Boyne City, Michigan, is a former American football player and coach. He played college football at Michigan State University from 1959 to 1961 and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 1962. Charon played in the AFL for the Buffalo Bills and later with the Norfolk Neptunes. Transitioning to coaching, he became a successful high school coach with a record of 123-77 and earned several accolades, including being named Regional Coach of the Year and an induction into the MHSFCA Hall of Fame.
