Carlo Di Giusto, born on June 8, 1955, in Rome, is an accomplished Italian basketball coach, former player, and Paralympian. A polio survivor, he began sports with Santa Lucia Sport, excelling in athletics and wheelchair basketball. He won a bronze medal in discus at the 1984 Paralympics and led Santa Lucia to 21 Italian championships. He served as Italy's wheelchair basketball national team coach, achieving European titles. Di Giusto initiated wheelchair minibasketball and has earned various recognitions throughout his career, including the Palma di Bronzo 2016 for his contributions to sports.
