Carlos Diarte, known as Lobo Diarte, was a Paraguayan footballer born in Asunción on January 26, 1954, and died in Valencia, Spain on June 29, 2011. He played as a forward and had a professional career from 1971 to 1987. Notably, he played for Real Zaragoza in La Liga from 1973 to 1976 and represented Paraguay in 45 international matches. After retiring as a player, he became a coach, notably training the Equatorial Guinea national football team in 2009 and 2010. He passed away due to cancer in 2011.
