Carlos Eduardo Guevara Villabón is a Colombian industrial engineer and politician born on January 29, 1977. He served as a Councillor in the Bogotá City Council from 2009 to 2011, succeeding Carlos Alberto Baena. He ran for Mayor of Bogotá in 2011 as a candidate for the MIRA Party. Guevara was elected as a Representative of Bogotá for the 2014-2017 term and in 2018, he became a Senator with over 66,000 votes, also assuming the role of Party Chairman after Baena.
