Carlos Horacio Ponce de León was a Catholic bishop known for his tenure as the bishop of the Diocese of San Nicolás de los Arroyos in Buenos Aires Province. Born on March 17, 1914, in Navarro, he was ordained as a priest on December 17, 1938. On June 9, 1962, he was appointed auxiliary bishop of Salta. Later, on April 28, 1966, he became the bishop of San Nicolás, a position he held until his death on July 11, 1977, making significant contributions to the Catholic Church during his 11 years in this role.
