Carlos Sottolichio Urquiza is a Chilean politician born on October 28, 1952, in Talcahuano. He served as the mayor of Conchalí from 1992 to 2000 and again from 2003 to 2008 and from 2012 to 2016. In the 2000-2003 term, he was succeeded by Pilar Urrutia, who passed away in office. He lost the 2008 municipal elections to Rubén Malvoa but won a subsequent election in 2012 with over 51% of the votes, taking office on December 6, 2012. In 2016, he became a councilor for Conchalí and was re-elected in 2021.
