Carmen San José Pérez is a Spanish physician, activist, and politician, born on June 3, 1951, in Madrid. She served as a deputy in the X legislature of the Assembly of Madrid representing the Parliamentary Group of Podem. A public health syndicalist, she was also a founding member of the Workers' Assembly Movement in Health. San José was a candidate for the European Parliament elections in 2009 and participated in the Marea Blanca movement defending public healthcare. She was elected as a deputy in the 2015 Madrid Assembly elections and is affiliated with the anticapitalist current of the parliamentary group.
