Carol Lee van Voorst, born in 1952, is an American diplomat notable for her role as the United States Ambassador to Iceland. Confirmed by the U.S. Senate on November 18, 2005, she was nominated by President George W. Bush on October 28, 2005. During her tenure, she represented U.S. interests in Iceland until her mission was officially terminated on January 20, 2009.
