Carola Grönhagen-Riska is a Finnish nephrologist born on December 7, 1945, in Helsinki. She was awarded the title of professor in 2001 and was the chief physician of the nephrology clinic at Helsinki University Central Hospital from 1998. Additionally, from 2000 she served as the head of the medical division of the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District and was the leading chief physician. She retired in the winter of 2013.
