Caroline Kaufer (née Lipson) was an executive and philanthropist born on August 4, 1962, known for her contributions to neuroendocrine cancer research. She graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Business School and led Centerline Development Systems. Together with her husband Stephen, she donated over $1.3 million to the Dana–Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital to support research in neuroendocrine cancer. The Kaufer Fund continues to aid medical research worldwide. Caroline passed away on March 22, 2005, from the same disease for which she advocated.
