Caroline Anne Righton is an English television presenter and author, born on February 26, 1958. She is known for her role as a presenter on the breakfast television station TV-am and as an anchor for Channel 4's news show, The Channel Four Daily. Righton also ventured into politics as the Conservative candidate for the St Austell and Newquay constituency in the 2010 general election, where she was defeated by the Liberal Democrats.
