Carrington "Carren" Visor Jr is an American modern jazz saxophonist born on May 14, 1934, in Washington, D.C. He began his career playing in bands at the Howard Theatre, then moved to the West Coast. He collaborated with notable musicians including Curtis Counce, Chico Hamilton, Louie Bellson, and Benny Carter. Visor performed on important jazz albums and participated in the Monterey Festival Jazz Orchestra. After working with various bands through the 1960s, he eventually faded from the jazz scene.
