She was born on June 6, 1911, and died on March 18, 1951, in San Felipe del Agua, Oaxaca de Juárez, Mexico. Some of her poetry was published in the French Review Le Goéland, and she edited two poetry collections: 'Fenêtre sur le paradis' (1946) and 'Chants pour la statue' (1948). A third collection, 'Cinquante poèmes', was published posthumously in 1988 by her friend, Belgian writer Alexis Curvers.
