Catherine Kitts, born on May 28, 1988, is a Canadian politician currently serving as the city councillor for Orléans South-Navan Ward in Ottawa. A graduate in journalism from Carleton University in 2010, she began her career as editor of the Orléans Star and later founded a digital communications agency. Kitts first ran for city council in 2018 but lost. She was successfully elected in a 2020 by-election and re-elected in 2022, becoming the youngest member of the city council.
