Cecilia Gentili (1972–2024) was a U.S. advocate dedicated to transgender rights and sex worker advocacy. Originally from Argentina, she relocated to New York City, where she took on leadership roles at LGBTQ HIV/AIDS organizations like GMHC and APICHA. She co-founded a free clinic for sex workers at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center and the organization DecrimNY, which campaigns for the decriminalization of sex work. In 2019, she established Trans Equity Consulting and legally challenged the Trump administration's decision to remove gender identity non-discrimination protections in the Affordable Care Act.
