Cees van Amsterdam is a former Dutch road racing cyclist born on February 25, 1938, in Leiderdorp. He is the son of former cyclist Aad van Amsterdam. Professionally active from 1961 to 1968, he participated in the Vuelta a España (Tour of Spain) in 1962 but had to retire during the second stage. His career highlights and contributions to cycling are noteworthy despite the early exit from the major race, and he remains a prominent figure in Dutch cycling history.
