Sister Celeste Bowe MBE (1931–1976) was an Irish nun and nurse known for her work with the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul. Born Catherine Mary Bowe, she trained as a nurse in the UK and later became a principal tutor specializing in care for those with learning disabilities. Bowe advocated for reforms in mental handicap nursing and developed innovative care methods, earning recognition as a national authority in the field. In 1975, she was awarded the MBE for her contributions to nursing before her death in 1976.
