Cellestine "Sally" Hannemann (1924–2018) was an American author and a pioneer in Oshibana art methodology. She lived in Southern California and developed techniques to minimize discoloration in pressed botanicals. Hannemann created a unique pressing device known as "Cellestine's Press," using polyester to cushion plant materials. She also authored a widely referenced book for plant pressers and Oshibana artists, in addition to writing two novels. Her contributions significantly advanced the art of botanical pressing.
