José María Álvarez Posadas, known by the pseudonym Celso Amieva, was a Spanish poet who belonged to the Generation of '36. Born on March 19, 1911, in Puente San Miguel, he later died in Moscow in 1988. Besides Celso Amieva, he also used other pseudonyms, including Lino Serdal, Elías Pombo, Fideal, and Corsino Urriel. His work reflects the themes and style characteristic of his literary generation.
