César Margolles de la Vega was a Galician teacher and politician born in Ribadeo on January 26, 1911. He served as a teacher until 1934 and was active in the PSOE. After the Popular Front's victory in February 1936, he was a government delegate in Barreiros and participated in various political rallies. Following the military coup on July 18, 1936, he fled to Asturias, where he was removed from his teaching position. He was later executed, with suspected burial in a mass grave. He faced political accountability procedures in 1937.
