Chang Ching-hsi (July 14, 1948 – January 13, 2022) was an economist from Changhua County, Taiwan. He served as a professor at National Taiwan University from 1974 to 2013, and was the head of the economics department from 1993 to 1998. He was also the chairman of the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association. Alongside colleagues Wu Tsung-min, Hsu Chia-tung, and Liu Ying-chuan, he co-authored 'Economic Theory and Practice,' which is regarded as an essential introductory text in economics. Media described him as 'Taiwan's economics teacher' and noted his significant contributions to Taiwan's democratization.
