Charles C. Price (July 13, 1913 – February 11, 2001) was an American chemist and president of the American Chemical Society in 1965. He was a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Notre Dame University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Known for his leadership in polymer science, he co-organized the first conference on chemical reaction mechanisms in 1946 and was a founding editor of the journal 'Polymer Science.' Price contributed to the development of materials during WWII, including multi-urethane foam, and was involved in chemical weapon detection and cancer treatments.
